Pray

notmepraying_thumb[2]

“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Mathew 18:19&20

It’s impossible for me to understand how MckMama and family feel right now. Their baby Stellan is very ill with SVT. You can read about it more here.  Will you gather together with me today? Will you pray that our Heavenly Father heals poor baby Stellan? Will you pray for a miracle?

I truly believe that if all of us Wolverines get down on our knees today and pray God will be Sovereign and Just to hear our prayers and answer them. Let’s gather together in His name so that He might be among us! Will you pray this prayer with me?

Dear God,

First we would like to say Thank You for your immense love and mercy.  Thank you for sending your Son to dye for our sins.  Today we gather together in one accord asking for a miracle. You are the Mighty Physician.  You are the Miracle Maker. You know what is wrong with baby Stellan’s Heart. You know how to fix it.  Please God, Please help this little one in his time of need. Wrap your loving arms around his family.  Keep them safe and peaceful in this troubled time.  You know what the next plan is. Please guide the hands of Stellan’s doctors today. Please give them wisdom and strength. We thank you again for being an Awesome God and sending your only Son to die for us. We gather together today to ask for just one more miracle for Baby Stellan.

It’s in His precious name we pray. Amen.

Oh sweet sweet boy, you have no idea how many people are on their knees for you today. You have made prayer warriors out of many many people.  You are so lucky and blessed. Stay strong little man. We are all bowing our heads in prayer for you today! If you are praying for Stellan with me will you please ask your readers to pray also and link up here?

I Heart Faces: At the Beach

This week’s theme over at I Heart Faces is “At the Beach.” It just so happens that our family decided to head on down to Jug Handle State Park for some fun and relaxation on the beach a few weeks ago. You can check out more photos from our day trip here.  I love this photo because it was the very first time Mr. C ever walked in the sand. See his sandy toes?  He had just finished putting his little tootsies in the Pacific Ocean for the very first time.  We had all sorts of fun at the beach that day.  Mr. A had a blast running from the waves and building sand castles with daddy.  I chose this photo simply because I love that it shows our beautiful coastline here on The Mendocino Coast. I need not mention the fact that the models are two of the most handsome boys I have ever seen. . .

I’m feeling a little nostalgic, are you?  Head on over to I Heart Faces and check out all the other marvelously beachy photos! I can almost feel the ocean breeze, can you?

Flash Back Friday

July’s theme: Holiday Road. Post photos of past vacations.

I just recently stumbled upon Bloggin It from the Burbs who hosts Flashback Friday. This months theme encompasses past vacations. I thought it would be fun to post some photos from our trip to Disneyland last October. I hadn’t even post processed them yet because it was before I even knew how that we went on the vacation. So I decided that this was a good opportunity to do that.

When Mr. A turned 4 years old my parents decided that they wanted to celebrate by going to Disneyland. You would think that He would be the most excited out of all of us to go to the Happiest Place on Earth. However, I think I was just as excited as he was. You see, I am a huge Disney Fanatic. I love that adorable mouse and all of his cool friends. I own pretty much every Disney movie there is, and it’s not because I have children. You can imagine. . .or you can see for yourself!

DSC_0027 Don’t worry, Mr. A had his picture taken too, he was much cuter standing there with that silly old bear!

DSC_0023
Nana even took Mr. A to meet the infamous mouse!

This was not the highlight of the trip though. I think Mr. A’s favorite part was seeing the Pixar Parade in California Adventure. Here are some photos of the parade sure to please!

 DSC_0153 DSC_0168 DSC_0161DSC_0178  DSC_0212

Mr. C got to go too, he didn’t have nearly as much fun, but still I think he enjoyed himself.

DSC_0008DSC_0054

DSC_0041

and of course, the highlight of my trip, getting our photo taken with Goofy!

DSC_0069  and if that wasn’t enough, Daddy and Aiden went on bumper cars and flying in Fliks invention.

DSC_0115DSC_0106

This family trip was one to remember. Mr. A doesn’t know yet but next week we will be heading to Six Flags Marine World. We can’t wait to take him to see the Whales, he is going to love it.

This has been fun, I can’t wait to share next week!

Totally Cute!

DSC_0630

Our little man, Mr. C was a featured Cute Tot today on Totally Tots . This is not the photo that was featured thankfully. I love the expression on his face, but could do without the drool. We were having tons of fun in Boonville at Grandpa T’s house a week or so ago.  Mr. A played in the sandbox making me soup while Mr. C tried to figure out how to work the hose. It was a wonderful day.

DSC_0634 Mr. A hard at work making soup for his mama! What a good little man he is! I pray that Mr. C follows his lead in the department of love. Mr. A is the most loving little person you will ever meet. He is full of joy and passion. He lights up every room he enters. People love to be around him.  He is such a blessing.

DSC_0646Okay mama, how does it work? I want the water to come out! Mr. C what a joy you are! Mr. C is such a good baby. He rarely cries. He is always happy and smiling. He loves his brother. He calls Mr. A “bubba”. It’s actually very cute. He can say Mr. A’s name but insists on calling him “bubba” as I believe he is trying to say “brother”. Mr. A enjoys this very much.

Well that’s about all I have stamina to write today as I am sick with a very nasty little bug. Please pray for our family as we are all experiencing this cold.

God Bless.

McFadden Family Woodworking

DSC_0623

Hubby just finished up this table for the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce. He is currently working on a project for the City of Fort Bragg building benches. We are very excited and can’t wait to get started. We are waiting on a shipment of Old Growth Redwood lumber from Crescent City. Once we have that, the project begins!   Aren’t our models in the photo fabulous?

DSC_0621Here’s a photo of the table by itself. Hubby is so talented! :0)

Have a great day everyone!!

Praises

First let me start by saying that I was having a good bad attitude yesterday morning.  Sometimes I take God’s blessings for granted. I forget to praise Him for the awesome wonders of the natural beauty that surrounds us daily.  We live in such a beautiful place because God has blessed hubby with a good paying job and loads of opportunity. I decided that to gain a better perspective and attitude yesterday that I would travel with hubby over to Anderson Valley and play in the sun with my children while he built a prototype bench for the City of Fort Bragg’s downtown project (more on this later).

“Yes, I will bless the Lord and not forget the glorious things He does for me.” Psalm 103:2

When we got to Anderson Valley it was warm and sunny. Mr. A and I took turns swinging on the rope swing that his Grandpa T. made for him.  Both boys played in the sand box that Grandpa T also made for them. It was a great day.  When Mr. C got cranky I decided to stroll him around the yard a little. while strolling we found two quail. A male and femal who were tending to their babies. If that wasn’t a reminder to praise God for his beautiful creations I don’t know what would be.

Hubby decided that he would like to go on a date so Grandma P. said that she would be happy to watch the boys.  He and I headed to Navarro Vineyards for some quick wine tasting. We purchased a couple of bottles of their Table Wine and then headed to Libby’s Mexican Restaurant for Dinner.

On our way home from Anderson Valley we saw a beautiful sunset over the Pacific Ocean. I was again reminded of God’s beautiful creations and how blessed we are to live in such a place surrounded by natural beauty.

“And God said, "Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear." And it was so.God called the dry ground "land," and the gathered waters he called "seas." And God saw that it was good.” Genesis 1:9&10

God is so good! I hope that your day is blessed with good feelings and natural beauty!

My Story In Photos: Patriotic

MSIF

Angie and Amy are taken a much deserved break from photo contests over at I heart Faces. In honor of Independence Day, this week they are hosting My Story in Photos: Patriotic version. I didn’t take any Red White and Blue photos over the holiday, however I happen to have a few patriotic ones laying around!

As you know (if you have read this post) I am a firefighter’s wife. Yes, Hubby sacrificially serves our community. He currently works as a Communications Operator (dispatcher) for Cal-Fire.  He also volunteers for Ukiah City Fire Department. Although he isn’t necessarily employed by the Red White and Blue I still find it extremely patriotic that he serves the sick, the helpless, and the weak. It shows a ton of courage to volunteer to run into a burning building to save someone that he doesn’t even know. Most likely this act of courage and strength goes thankless. However he keeps on doing it because he was called. He has a higher calling. God has called us all to serve. Whether we serve as courageously as our members of the Armed Forces, Firefighters, Police Officers or EMS is entirely up to us, however we are called to serve.  So in honor of the men and women who wear a uniform of courage, I give you Hubby’s patriotic story in photos.

DSCF0195

This photo was taken by someone else (but edited by me. prior to me meeting my firefighting hubby. I believe it was during training for Turner Fire Department in Oregon.  Where we visited with our children last June (photos to follow).

Yet another photo that was taken prior to me meeting the man. Training with California Department of Forestry Fire Department Cal-Fire.

Nothing cooler than a smoke screen shot (taken by someone else again edited by me).

Hard at work (again not taken by me).

DSCF0047

And one last photo of the man I love doing what he loves (not taken by me), not onto our trip to Turner Fire Department, all photos taken by yours truly.

No idea who the turnouts belong to, however I know that whoever wears them, wears them proudly.

okay, I’ll admit it, I took this one. I LOVE Fire Engines!! :0)3197150-R1-046-21A

Mr. A very excited about all the engines in the bay, I think I was just as excited!

3197150-R1-048-22A

Hubby’s friends hard at work, Mr. A was impressed.

Well I hope you liked my patriotic story. I didn’t take any photos for the 4th. It was cold and dreary here. It didn’t make for very fun photos. I hope all of you had a wonderful celebration day! :0) Click on over the I heart Faces and check out everyone else's patriotic stories.

Happy Independence Day!

God Bless the U.S.A!!
