Getting Dirty

Mr. A and Daddy played outside on Thursday. Daddy worked very hard on our vegetable beds and a box for our compost while Mr. A played in the dirt. Here are some pictures of Mr. A getting dirty!

My Hubby

Meet my One True Love:

My Hubby is one of the sweetest most thoughtful men I think I have ever known. He is a great daddy to my two beatiful children, he provides for us in everyway possible, and he does thoughtful things for me whenever he gets the chance. My birthday is coming up on April 1st. Not many of you know, but he works for Cal-Fire in Willits CA. He has to go to administrative training next week and will be gone on my birthday. We are celebrating tonight by going out at a french restaraunt named Le Petite Rive. Instead of taking my presents to the restaraunt, my hubby decided that I should open them this morning. His father is a fine woodworker (Tom McFadden Furniture) and Cam has learned how to make beautiful furniture and houshold items. He made me a beautiful cutting board (photos to come later), and rolling pin. He also bought me a Nikor 55-200 mm lens for my Nikon D40x. I am so spoiled and blessed by this man. He is one of a kind! I love him.

I Heart Faces-No Flash

It's another week over at I Heart Faces, This week the photos entered have to have been taken with no flash. I have an adult entry and a child entry this week. I took both photos while my husband and 11 month old were outside this past sunday. So here's Mr. C standing up all by himself.

Trip to the Park

Mr. C has started pulling himself up on everything, it won't be long now before he is walking. Here are some shots of him at the park today standing with his stroller. They grow up way too fast. and just one more of him trying to pull himself up on his brother's toy bin. He's such a mischevious one! We took a couple of Mr. A at the park today as well. The covetted tunnel slide shot has finally been caught! Here's how much fun he had!

I Heart Green

Over at I Heart Faces this weeks contest theme is all about Green in honor of St. Patrick's Day. It just so happens that I shot a few photos of my little one wearing his new green hat that I bought him for St. Pattrick's day so I decided to enter one in this weeks contest. I just love his face in this photo and I hope you do too!

I also have an adult entry this week. My husband and Aiden went sledding in Bend Oregon a while back and my husband wore a green jacket. It's the only green thing I could find with an adult in the photo. I love this picture of my husband and little boy. It's one of my favorites and I hope it's one of yours too!

Papa Visits Preschool

A few months ago one of Aiden's little friends from preschool had her grandpa come and talk about the work he does as the engineer of the Skunk Train (http://www.skunktrain.com/) here if Fort Bragg. At the end of class that day Aiden said "Mommy, I think Papa should come to my preschool and tell my friends how to take care of their teeth". Papa is a dentist and so he did just that! Here are some pictures of Papa visiting Glass Beach Preschool! Aiden was his little assistant and had all sorts of fun. It was pretty exciting to have his papa at preschool. The kids had a good time learning how to take care of their teeth too!
