I Heart Faces: Autumn Beauty

I have been MIA for the last week or so. Sorry readers. I’ve been busy with work, children, and now, a new Black Labrador puppy named “Teddy”.  I will be posting photos of him next, but first I want to get back into the swing of things with I Heart Faces. I have missed the last few entries for one reason or another. You would think that I have photos of my children with balloons alas I do not!  However, I have something for autumn.

Mr. Moo delighted in sorting pumpkins at Gowan’s Pumpkin Patch.  I couldn’t resist sharing this with you all!  Now head on over to I Heart Faces and show us what you’ve been photographing this autumn!

Rotten

As I was driving through the neighborhood this morning I couldn’t help but notice the rotten pumpkins ready for the compost pile.  Stinky, moldy, ugly, yucky pumpkins that were once beautiful and bright.

Sin is ugly, stinky, and moldy! Man’s Sin is like a rotting pumpkin. God sees that we are sinners and condemns us to the compost pile. It is only by His grace that He sent Jesus Christ to die on Calvary so that we would be saved from the compost pile of eternity. Man is like a rotting pumpkin. We are all sinners. If it weren’t for the blood of Jesus Christ we would all be headed straight for that big compost pile called Hell.

Do you know the definition of Hell?

Hell is separation of God. A life without God is no life at all. More-Over, it is Hell.

The bible says, that Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life, No one comes to the Father but by Him (John 14:6). The only way that we will ever have God in our life, is to ask Jesus to live in our hearts.

I don’t know about you but I am thankful that Jesus died on the cross so that I did not have to be a condemned rotting pumpkin headed for the compost pile.
