Summer Love and a Chair

I dont know why but Mr. C got more joy out of sitting in this old beat up chair at my parent's house on Memorial Day than anything else. Here are some of our favorite photos of our spirited 13 month old.

This last one is Chelsi's favorite. He just looks so happy and innocent. :0)

Fix-It-Friday@I Heart Faces

It's Fix-it-Friday over at I Heart Faces again. I decided to get in on the photo editting fun this week. This little cutie just screamed at me for attention, so I opened up Photoshop 6.0 and went straight to editting.
Before After
I started by cropping the photo down to 5x7. Then I adjusted the hue a little bit. pretty easy fix-it. I really like the finished product and I hope you all do too!
Happy Friday!!!

Memorial Day 2009

Our family from montana came to visit for the memorial day holiday. Nana threw a big bbq at her house. Food was delicious, children were happy, and Adults got to socialize. It was one of the best family get-togethers I think we have had in a long time. I enjoyed spending time with everyone. I took lots of photos of the kids, here are my favorites. I hope you love them as much as I loved taking them. :0) God Bless,

Beautifully Blurry Backgrounds and Such

I am so pleased with the way the photos that I shot of my two small children (TSC) playing at the park the other day came out. I think I must share them with you all. I Heart Faces has taught me a lot about how to use my camera. I have learned a lot about editing photos as well. I am so happy to have found this blog spot! It is a great community of amateurs and professionals and I look forward to the contests and Fix-It-Friday's every week.
Photo above courtesy of Hubby!
. . . . And these that I took a few weeks ago in Anderson Valley at my father-in-law's house. just look at those beautifully blurry backgrounds. Awww, life is good! Not to mention this beautiful reflection shot of my camera and me in the rear view! :0)
Happy Memorial Day!!

I Heart Faces:Silhouettes

This is the best silhouette shot that I have on file. My grandfather passed away last Tuesday and I have not felt like attempting to use my camera much. Although, I think I have taken my best photos of my children this week as we were playing at the park. This photo is of Mr. A playing on Big River Beach last Spring. Not my best work, but it will have to do. Head on over to I Heart Faces to see some much better silhouettes!

here fishy fishy. . .

Oh boy did the boys have fun last weekend. The local Police Activities League (PAL) here in good old Fort Bragg put on a very nice fishing clinic for Pre-K to 14 year old children at MacKerricher State Park. There were stations for each step of the fishing experience. Water safety, knot tying, casting, and cleaning fish were among the different activities that Mr. A participated in. He even was given a small tackle box for completing the clinic. Mr. A was extremely excited about getting to use his new fishing pole. However, it took a while for him to catch a fish as Hubby did not have the correct bait. So our friend Mr. S snagged the fish and Mr. A reeled him in. Mr. A had a hard time with the idea of eating said fishy so he and Hubby attempted to put him back, however it was too late. Here are some of the photos from the day. Memories that will last a lifetime. Happy Memorial Day.

Rub-a-Dub-Dub

Bath Time is Mr. C's favorite time of the day. If he so much as sees the bath tub we might as well forget anything else that we are doing at the time because he will want in! I've been attempting to get some good shots of him in the tub and I think I accomplished this. Tell me what you think! :0) In the last one he is signing "I Love You." I love him too, don't you? Happy Bath Time Baby!!

This photo was taken at my father-in-law's house. Hubby was preparing to bite into half and apple when Mr. C thought it would be much better if he helped eat it. Extremely funny moment that I just had to capture. I am submitting this photo into the www.iheartfaces.com Blurb Book photo contest.
