I just recently became a fan of McKMama over at mycharmingkids.net. Stellan has SVT and went into surgery for a Cardiac Ablation. He is very young for this surgery and under the ideal weight. Please keep him in your prayers today as our family is. My heart goes out to McKmama as I do not know what I would do if my little ones were ill. I admire her ability to put all of her trust in God and be peaceful in whatever happen s. My heart aches with sympethy for Stellan and his family. My prayers are with you little one!
I finally got around to getting these photos off of the camera yesterday. We have been running around doing as many activities as we can for the past week. It's been great. I love watching Mr. A interact with other children and experience all of life's wonders. I won't be blogging or answering e-mail for a week or so because I will be in Jackson California with the family. Hubby has training with Cal-Fire for the week so we are packing up the kidletts and going with him.
Happy trails to you, until we meet again. . . .

I sincerely hope to make a new friend or two with this and I can't wait to put together a little box of my favorite things! :0) Happy Swapping everyone!

This is the only spring inspired photo I could find this week. This is my four year old when he was two, picking flowers for his mommy. :0) head on over to I Heart Faces to see all the other spring/easter photos!

My adult entry isn't the best photo quality, but I think it brings out the relationship between mother and daughter very well. My mother and grandmother are pictured here having a very good conversation, they are the best of friends as I hope that my children will be with me when they are adults.

Our family is blessed to live in a beautiful place. This photo was taken while my husband and I were staying at The Heritage House the night of our Wedding. It was taken while sitting on the balcony. We live in Fort Bragg California on the Mendocino Coast. At any given time I can drive down Hwy 1 and see beautiful seascapes. God really is Good isn't he? I also would like to share this poem with you all, it touched my heart as I read it this morning. It is so true, and it goes perfectly with this photo! I also thought I would enter Spiritual Sundays/ this week.
Jesus, Captain of Life’s Sea
I have a friend in Jesus
Who guides me through the gale
A first mate and a skipper
Who helps me to set sail.
He offers strength and guidance
A helmsman at the wheel
An ever-steady beam of light
A fortress made of steel
He’s the master of the ocean
My refuge and my rock
A harbor that I turn to
My anchor at life’s dock.
He’s a mighty sailing warrior
A helping hand indeed
A pilot through the churning waves
He meets my every need.
He’s the One I always run to
When the waves won’t let me be
The lighthouse that I turn to
On a rough and troubled sea.
He’s a smoothly sailing vessel
A refuge from the storm
The gentle breeze that sends me to
An island, sweet and warm.
He’s a brave and fearless skipper
A shelter from the heat
Water when I’m thirsty
A vessel filled with wheat.
He’s a sure and steady sailor
My Captain on life’s sea
No matter where I journey
He goes along with me.

Happy Sunday Everyone!
It may be too good to be true, but I do believe Spring has sprung! :0)
