Hubby and I decided that instead of trying to make the transition from crib to toddler bed with Mr. Moo after the Little Peanut arrived, it might be smarter to do it now. We are fortunate enough to have a crib that converts to a toddler bed (and a double later on) so this transition has gone fairly smoothly. Mr. Moo has been sleeping in it for almost a month now. He doesn’t get out of bed until he’s supposed to. He doesn’t mind being in there by himself. In fact, last night, he slept all the way through the night for the first time in months.
There is nothing this momma likes more than a full nights sleep! We have been blessed that most transitions in Mr. Moo’s life have gone very smoothly.
Let’s hope the transition from baby to big brother is just as smooth!
Hubby and I made a transition as well. I think we finally agreed on a name for Little Peanut. We will keep it a surprise here until his arrival though!

ReplyDeleteI remember when I converted my daughter's crib to a toddler bed. I think I was looking for something to fill an afternoon while my husband was deployed...fortunately, she took to the idea with great aplomb. Glad your son is doing so well too! And good job on choosing a baby name. We waited until the last week to finally agree. :)
