Labor Day Weekend

  I don’t know about all of you, but I’m excited about Labor Day Weekend.  Here in Fort Bragg we have a traditional Paul Bunyan Days celebration all weekend. At any given time during this celebration there will be some interesting and fun activity going on. There is a dog show, craft fair, kiddies parade, relay races. The local volunteer fire department always puts on a good show at the Water Fights.

   The United States Coast Guard even comes out for the water fights. It’s a pretty big deal around here.

There is a logging show and old fashioned dress review.  There is always a parade on Labor Day with a special theme. Our little town has been celebrating Labor Day this way for 70 years. It’s a lot of fun and we look forward tot he activities all year long. 

If you are lucky you might even get to meet Paul Bunyan!
