Over at We Picture{This} the theme is New and Improved and I am entering. I chose a photo of my son after he caught his very first fish. In the photo he is trying to decide whether he will cook it and eat it or throw it back to catch again. Tough decision for this little guy. So here it is!

I decided that I would fix the contrast a little and then change it to a black and white to capture the timelessness of the photo.

Great "fix"! When there's lots going on in a photo (lots of different colors and textures), I find that converting to black and white really helps direct the focus to the subject.
