Oh, the fun we had. . .
Our family ventured out Saturday to the Botanical Gardens for their annual Harvest Festival. Costumed Kids got in free, so in the spirit of freedom, we dressed the kiddies in their Halloween attire. Little Fire Chief went as Buzz Light-Year. I just love his costume to pieces!
As we headed down the path to the party, I couldn’t help but take multiple photos of this adorable little robot! Little Fire Chief loves his costume too. He couldn’t wait to get to the party to show it off.
When we arrived at the party a tree of hanging apples greeted us.
The object of the game was for kids to bite into the apple in order to get it off of the tree. It was a wonderful alternative to bobbing for apples. Little Fire Chief Buzz even tried it out.
There were pumpkins (generously donated by Gowan’s) to carve as well.
Little Fire Chief Buzz insisted on carving his own. He did a pretty good job too.
He scooped out the inside and carved out the eyes.
I think he did a pretty good job don’t you?
All the while, Mr. Moo Tony the Tiger was busily sorting pumpkins. . .
The boys even had a chance to see the model railroad that calls Botanical Gardens home.
Little Fire Chief Buzz enjoyed watching the train go around most of all. He could have cared less about the rest of the activities.
Someone had a birthday party on Sunday, my next post will be all about it!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
All great shots!! Love the costumes... thanks for sharing!!
